June 24, 2022 (Texas, Mississippi, Utah) 2024

The 2,340-mile-long Mississippi River, flowing from Minnesota to the Gulf of Mexico, loops and curls through regions marked by over a century of struggle for medical freedom. Inspired by my time as an Intern at Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains, my work encourages conversations about the critical importance of reproductive health and art's role in advocating for change.

After the overturn of Roe V. Wade in 2022, I transitioned my print practice to explore the landscapes of states devastated by the ruling. Using a mono-print technique to unite topographic forms and communities across states, each quilt is made through mixed-media and framing processes.
